Mere Gardening Club started life in the 1970s as the Mere Allotment Holders and Leisure Gardeners Association.  Later it became the Mere Horticultural Society, now we are simply Mere Gardening Club.

The aim of our group is to share our common interests in all matters associated with gardening.

We meet monthly, usually with a speaker.

All are welcome, beginners, casual gardeners, experts or just interested, do come along to our meetings.  Alternatively to join the club the membership form is available on the contact page.  A contact email address is also on the contact page.

In March 2019 we became affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.

The latest constitution of the club was approved at the AGM on March 13th 2019.
